Todd Ostomel is a patent attorney at the global law firm, Squire Patton Boggs. Todd helps clients develop patent and trade secret portfolios to protect chemical, electrochemical, and materials science inventions. Todd received his Ph.D. in chemistry at the University of California Santa Barbara where he patented inorganic materials used by militaries and first responders to treat traumatic injuries which require induced hemostasis. Todd received his J.D. at the University of California Davis. He previously worked for the law firm, Kilpatrick Townsend and Stockton, and as in-house counsel to a start-up commercializing electrochemical devices.
