To mark the end of the summer at UC Berkeley, a poster session that showcased the research accomplishments of the participants of the Center for E3S organized summer research programs was held at UC Berkeley. There were 28 posters from three undergraduate research internship programs (E3S REU, UCB-HBCU, and TTE REU), as well as a research program, UCB RET, for community college faculty. In attendance was Dr. Pamela Jenkins, Director, Graduate Studies, University of California Office of the President (UCOP), who served as a poster judge along with 14 other judges. The poster judges, who were anonymous to the poster presenters, provided written input to the presenters after viewing the posters and conducting discussions with the presenters. In total over 110 people attended, including UC Berkeley faculty, postdocs, graduate students, and staff members, as well as parents, friends, and colleagues of the program participants. Closing ceremonies, before and after the poster session, were held for each program, where the program participants received certificates of completion for their nine-week research experience at UC Berkeley.
