The Transfer to Excellence (TTE) Program encourages its community college researchers to further their passion for research and present at peer-reviewed conferences. This year, we would like to congratulate eight alumni from the 2016 TTE Cohort who presented at the fall 2016 National Conference of the Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS).

Jimi Cao (Pasadena City College), Michael Fernandez (East Los Angeles College), Karen Ho (Pasadena City College), Alex Kern (Consumes River College), Celia Kitchell (City College of San Francisco), Huy Voung (Pasadena City College), Jordan Wilson (Diablo Valley College), Andy Zhang (College of San Mateo) presented the research they did at the TTE program at the 2016 SACNAS in Long Beach, CA.
